How To Find La Maison Anglaise

Please find below the map, directions and photograph to locate us. Our garden ecolodge is shown in bright pink at bottom of the map – south south west of the souks which are easy to see – shown in deep blue.
LA MAISON ANGLAISE MAIN ENTRANCE
is on Avenue Mohamed V (also known as Rocade Taroudant) which runs near the walls on the south side of town. Our entrance is easy to recognise, though it is set back 12 metres from the road with a distinctive old carob tree by the road. Photo of main gate as seen coming from Marrakech direction.

Coming from Agadir on the N10 Turn left when you first see the corner of the town walls. Soon on the right you will see lots of buses and taxis – this is just before the gate through the town walls called Bab Zorgane at the SE corner of the town – it is easy to recognise because it is the main transport hub in the town.
From there follow the main road west past the next gate through the walls (Bab Benyara) until you reach a fork in the road in front of a restaurant in gardens called Jnane Soussia.
Keep to the left on the main road for about 250 metres, passing a track on the left to Pepiniere Flora Decor Fikri. Shortly afterwards on the right you will see an old carob tree and the 2 towers beside the entrance gate, which is set back 12 metres from the road.
Coming from Ouarzazate and the east on the N10 Follow the town walls until you reach the roundabout where the walls take a turn away from you at the SE corner of the town. Turn right. Soon on the right you will see lots of buses and taxis – this is just before the gate through the town walls called Bab Zorgane at the SE corner of the town – it is easy to recognise because it is the main transport hub in the town.

Coming from Marrakech & the motorway on the P1708 You will come to a roundabout before you reach the town walls. Turn right here and follow the main road for about 800 metres & you will see an old carob tree on the left and the 2 towers of the entrance set back 12 metres from the road. If you reach the sign on the right for Pepiniere Flora Decor Fikri, you have gone too far.
Our address is La Maison Anglaise Garden Ecolodge, Rocade Taroudant, Bab Zorgane, Taroudant (although you will see from the map that we are nearer to Bab Benyara, the new gate to the west of Bab Zorgane and just west of Jnane Soussia).
