After 7 nights at our own ecolodge you have the option of a 3 night tour to the scenic traditional fishing port of Essaouira where you will stay at a spacious, well positioned riad.
Our ecolodge is well known for magical meaningful holidays, excellent food and exceptional staff, the award-winning set up relocated in 2020 to a stunning sustainably-run Ecolodge beside the town walls with a pool and permaculture gardens. Enjoy the sun all year round as well as exceptional menu of local healthy food. Located on the south side of the ancient town walls of Taroudant, it enjoys the best winter climate in Morocco due to its southerly setting in the fertile Souss Valley.
Places to Visit Taroudant is little visited by tourists, has shopper-friendly souks with an exotic traditional atmosphere. It lies between contrasting mountain landscapes: the majestic High Atlas and the extraordinary Anti-Atlas (beyond which lies the Sahara). And it is only an hour’s drive from the sandy, rocky and marshy habitats of the Atlantic coast.
Feel safe thanks to the care of loving English-speaking staff, good medical facilities, excellent WiFi, safe water as well as the town being small, relaxed and friendly with few tourists.

Optional 4 day 3 night tour is 2500 MAD (approx £200) payable locally.

PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME
There will be photography classes each day with an option to circle dance with Barbara in Taroudant if there is enough interest.
7 nights ay La Maison Anglaise in Taroudant and option of 3 nights stay at a spacious, well positioned riad in Essaouira’s medina.
In Taroudant you may choose from the many cultural experiences and activities on offer here
Day 1 Arrival Day – welcome & settle in.
Day 2 A day in Taroudant exploring the medina, souks and town walls.
Day 3 Optional excursion: walking at at Amagour oasis & in the Anti Atlas Mountains with Said.
Day 4 Optional cultural experiences.
Day 5 Optional excursion: High Atlas Mountains – gorge and olive groves near Afensou.
Day 6 Optional cultural experiences.
Day 7 Option of lunch out.
Day 8 Either Journey along the scenic Atlantic coast to Essaouira and stay 3 nights at Dar L’ Oussia or take early evening flight home from Agadir.
Day 9 Essaouira port, walls and medina.
Day 10 Essaouira beach, Diabat and beyond.
Day 11 Return to Agadir airport for flight home around lunch time.
