Tutor: Mike Driscoll

I have been a keen amateur photograph since my days as a teenager when I bought my first roll film cameras. Living in the New Forest Hampshire for the past forty years I have gained a lot of experience in landscape, nature and wildlife photography. Around 2003 I moved into the digital age and studied photography between 2008 – 2010, at Brockenhurst college finally gaining NCFE level 2 and 3 qualifications in Digital Photography. Since retiring in 2010 I have run a successful beginners and intermediate photography group within the Romsey and District U3A. My focus is on how to get the best results out of your camera whatever type it may be, from simple compacts to complex digital single lens reflex models. During the Summer months I take the members out to a variety of different locations, each with different themes. This enables students to hone their learnt skills outside the classroom environment.
