Jane and Louise have taught tapestry weaving and travelled in many places throughout the world together. They met whilst weaving for a professional studio in the late 90’s and have had a lot of fun exhibiting and teaching together since.

This course is open to weavers of all abilities and with two experienced tutors we are able to give plenty help and inspiration to every student.

The programme will focus on the beautiful surroundings, taking in the colours , shapes and textures in the environment. Simple drawing exercises will be interspersed with weaving throughout the week. We shall also be looking at Moroccan rug weaving techniques which we will incorporate into our tapestries.
