Why booking early is a good idea
- If you’d like single occupancy we only allocate a limited number of rooms for singles
- Our holidays are very popular so often fill quickly – a maximum of 10 places on this holiday
- Flights can be booked once we have the minimum viable number for the holiday – we will advise you at that point. This will ensure that you can buy them cheaply – prices can rise sharply
- To secure your place on this holiday a deposit of £100 is paid. Booking opens about a year before the holiday begins.

The Venue Well known for magical meaningful holidays, excellent food and exceptional staff, this award-winning set up relocated in 2020 to a stunning sustainably-run eco-lodge with a chlorine-free pool and permaculture gardens. Located on the south side of the ancient town walls of Taroudant, which enjoys the best winter climate in Morocco. Enjoy an exceptional menu of local healthy food.

Bedrooms The comfortable, beautifully appointed rooms are cleverly designed to be cool in summer and warm in winter. All have en–suite bathrooms, their own terrace and garden and can sleep two or more. A limited number are allocated for single occupancy. More details of rooms here

PROVISIONAL PROGRAMME which will vary with travel arrangements, weather etc
There will be daily tutored sessions and possibly spontaneously at inspiring places. On 3 days there will be an art activity during the day. On 2 alternating days there will be a session from 4-6 pm. On some evenings there will be an art session for an hour.
Each day you may choose one of the optional activities on offer below. Anything listed as “optional” means it is payable locally and not included in the price. Please see our price list for costs.
Day 1 Arrival Day Our drivers meet you at Agadir airport from the flight from Bristol. Lunch or dinner, settle in, introductory talk and tour of the site. Optional massages. Optional tour around town walls by horse-drawn taxi.
Day 2 Art Day Optional excursion: walking in an oasis in the Anti Atlas Mountains with Said.
Day 3 Optional cultural experiences: massages; experience our on-site solar powered hammam. Art 4-6 pm.
Day 4 Art Day Optional excursion: 10 am -3pm Berber Castle in Anti Atlas Mountains. Optional cookery lesson or massages 4-6 pm
Day 5 Exploring Taroudant Optional cultural experiences: morning: shopping in the souk or experience solar-powered hammam. Art in the afternoon: sketching in the town
Day 6 Travel along the Atlantic Coast to Essaouira. by our minibus with our driver/guide along the Atlantic Coast to Essaouira. Scenic stops for sketching on this 4 hour tour. Orientation walk.
Day 6-8 Explore the picturesque medina, the traditional fishing port, the fortified battlements, the beach including maybe a camel ride. Breakfast at your beautiful riad (courtyard house) is included; choose from a wide variety of great restaurants for your lunch and evening meals (paid by you). The group usually chooses to eat dinner at the riad as the food is very good.
Day 8 Transfer by public coach to Agadir Railway station from where you may choose to take a taxi to the airport for the evening flight home
