Meet Tina of Sportina
Tina is a passionate movement educator who helps men and women aged 40+ move with more strength, mobility, and ease — supporting their bodies for everyday life through mindful, enjoyable exercise.
With a background as a professional dancer and aerobics instructor, Tina spent a decade performing and teaching before taking time out to raise her family. After nine years as a full-time mum, she returned to doing what she loves most: inspiring others to move and feel good in their bodies.
Tina lived in Athens from 1993 to 2005, before relocating to the UK with her husband. By 2006, she was back teaching a wide variety of fitness classes. Over the past decade, she has focused on her signature blend of Pilates, Yoga, Chair-Based Exercise.
She has supported dozens of people in improving their mobility, posture, and body awareness. Tina believes in the powerful synergy between Pilates and Yoga — two practices that not only complement each other, but also help people approach all kinds of exercise more safely and mindfully.
Her clients often say they feel more at home in their own skin and more capable in their everyday lives — and that’s what lights her up.
Tina also runs Mindful Movement Retreats abroad each year — an extension of her classes where like-minded individuals come together for a week of uplifting movement, delicious food, sunshine, and soul-nourishing connection.
