Tutor: Olatune Spence

Olatunde Spence is a trauma-informed Art Psychotherapist and EMDR therapist fully insured HCPC registered and is a member of the British Association of Art Therapists and EMDR UK Association. She has worked in private practice for over 10 years.  She has experience working with autistic children and adult and experience of working with Black and Asian groups and individuals to provide culturally sensitive therapy. She specialises in working with the impact of traumatic events.

Olatunde has worked with people who have experienced; eating disorders, low mood, voice hearing, couple conflict, chronic health conditions, anxiety and oppression.


Olatunde has provided training and workshops, which include

  • Art for Wellbeing
  • Print making
  • Alternative approaches to children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing (Brazil conference)
  • Introduction to Art Therapy for Robbins Nordoff Music Therapy students at Royal Northern College of Music – Manchester
