CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR
Weather is usually relatively mild in south west Wales (hence early potatoes come from Pembrokeshire) but of course weather is much less predictable than it used to be.
For outdoors: It is essential to bring suitable footwear and rainwear. We suggest walking boots, anoraks and waterproof trousers especially if you enjoy walking.
A pair of indoor shoes or slippers is good to have for both the spaces where workshops take place and your overnight accommodation. Don’t forget some warm clothes for evenings outside and relaxation after yoga.
TORCH (or mobile phone torch) – useful if you need to use the toilet at night & don’t want to disturb a roommate. Also useful for moving around and between the locations at night.

EMERGENCIES
Dial 999 This is the emergency number for police, ambulance, fire brigade, coastguard, cliff rescue, mountain rescue, cave rescue, etc. Note the important word ‘EMERGENCY’. This number should be used only when urgent attendance by the emergency services is required – for example someone is seriously ill or injured, or a crime is in progress.
Calls are free, and 999 can be dialled from a locked mobile phone.
112 – Another emergency number (same as 999) The important thing about 112 is that it will work on a mobile phone anywhere in the world.
101 – The non-emergency number for the police Use 101 when you want to contact the police, but it’s not an emergency – i.e. an immediate response is not necessary and/or will not be serve any purpose.
111 – The non-emergency medical number This is available nationwide and replaced and expanded on the former NHS Direct service. Use this for illnesses and minor injuries where life isn’t threatened, but you would like some advice on what to do next.
HOUSEKEEPING
We would be grateful for help with
1) collecting and washing up after tea breaks and meals
2) carrying food from the kitchen to the buffet
